New SureStrip™ Tamper-Resistant Food Packaging: Lock Out
Tampering, Lock In Profits™
Sabert Corporation announced today that it has added SureStrip,
a patent-pending tamper-resistant feature, to its offering of
leading culinary container products. SureStrip is designed to
enhance the safety and security of packaged food, while reducing
costs.
SureStrip offers elegant fresh-food packaging designs and peace
of mind by adding protection from tampering. The security seal is
built into each leak-resistant, pop-tight lid. This patent-pending
feature eliminates the need for sealing equipment, shrink bands,
heat tunnels, energy and labor costs.
The SureStrip feature is a unique patent-pending design that has
been added to Sabert's line of Bowls2 ™ (square bowls).
In addition to delivering square bowls with great aesthetic appeal,
the SureStrip feature now provides additional peace of mind. "The
tamper-resistant design is built right into the lid" says Chloe
Miles, Product Manager at Sabert. "Once you place your food into
one of our SureStrip containers, you snap on the lid to secure it.
When consumers want to open the package, all they have to do is
pull off the strip that's built into the edge of the lid, just as
you would a shrink band, and open it right up."
"Adding SureStrip to our long list of offerings is another way
of recognizing the food safety needs of our many customers in the
food industry" adds Tony Muscato, SVP of Sales and Marketing of
Sabert Corporation. "Our clients want food packaging that keeps
their food safe and fresh, presents beautifully and also helps them
save money. This new feature secures freshness and eliminates the
need for heat sealing and shrink banding equipment, as well as
associated energy, labor and process costs. The combination of
simplicity and savings makes SureStrip such an attractive solution
to consider."
The new SureStrip tamper-resistant square bowls from Sabert are
available in 9 sizes from 8 oz. to 64 oz. and 2 colors, black or
clear. SureStrip is ideal for any food delivery system concerned
with the safety of its food, relevant to supermarkets, convenience
stores, food packers and processors or any merchandising
environment where customers handle packaged food.
